This week, hear from your Arts & Culture Programme Committee representative, Pragya Jhingran (Year 2) about what was discussed in the first PC meeting of this academic year.
“Today we had our first Arts & Culture Programme Committee meeting and our team is already hard at work. We are continuing to tackle issues relevant to our education here at FASoS, and particularly in the BA Arts & Culture. We began with discussing the annual report of the previous year to establish the status of all our plans, and see what we need to work on this year. We discussed the enhancement and increase in the diversity of the literature we study here at FASoS, for instance by paying particular attention to the diversity of the authors we read, or by covering a wider range of perspectives. We also discussed the online teaching and education experiences and established that we would continue period two the same way, although with some practical adjustments, implying a way of learning which includes part on-campus classes and part online classes.”
