In partnership with Lumière Cinema, the Maastricht Young Academy (MYA) is planning a series of 3 films in the 2021-22 season, focusing on themes that connect emerging research at Maastricht University with our community.
The first of this series on the theme of migration will be Midnight Traveler on Monday 1 November at 19.30.
Tickets are €5, and include 2 drinks to help continue the conversation, sponsored by the MYA.
This gripping documentary was shot on phones by a family of filmmakers over their years-long asylum journey from Afghanistan to Europe. The screening will be followed by a panel with experts on refugee issues and the perils of such journeys.
