Need help? UM is here for you!

As a student, you may be going through difficult times. UM offers several programmes for students that may be struggling on a personal level.

Please read on for more information.

  • On 9 November, UM starts an extra Loss & Mourning training for students who lost a loved one and would like to process that in small groups under professional guidance. More info and registration here.
  • Since May 2020 UM also offers online programmes of Gezondeboel, including many Dutch and English modules on low mood, loneliness, corona-stress, mindfulness, lifestyle, etc. For more information, see here.
  • Through the Caring Universities platform UM offers two online modules to combat lowmood (MoodPep) and overcome stress (Rel@x), including support of an online coach. For more information, see here.
  • The UM psychologists and UM Career Services have an extensive online offer of workshops and lectures. For more information, see here.
  • As of October UM has been offering an online walk-in for Quick Psychological Referral (QPR) twice a week. Here students can ask all their wellbeing related questions and will be directed to the care that fits their needs. As of January 2021 UM will offer this QPR daily so students no longer have towait for individual time with a UM psychologist. For more information, see here.
