New categories and submission guidelines FASoS weekly

After the summer holidays, all editions of the FASoS weekly (staff and bachelor/master) will have new categories. Below you find the new categories and some of the guidelines for submission.

You can submit a message for the FASoS weekly through the submission form. In this form, you can indicate for whom the message you wrote is intended (staff, bachelor or master). Messages should be submitted before 17.00 on Wednesday. The FASoS Weekly is sent on Thursday afternoon.

Categories staff:

  • Events
  • Funding opportunities
  • Staff publications
  • Staff in the news
  • Staff updates
  • Internal vacancies
  • Facility updates (buildings, IT, University Library)
  • Humans of FASoS
  • Miscellaneous

Categories bachelor/master:

  • FASoS News
  • Events
  • Student Representatives News
  • Extracurricular activities
  • (student) jobs, internships, PhDs
  • Student resources updates (buildings, IT, University Library)
  • Miscellaneous

Please note that the ‘FASoS news’ section is intended for major newsworthy entries (appointments/promotions within FASoS, prize winners, parties) and it is at the discretion of the FASoS weekly editors to change the section in which your submission will appear. In the student edition, staff updates (such as publications and other minor news) will also not be shared anymore. Only major announcements (such as appointments/promotions) will be shared.

The FASoS weekly will be sent out at a minimum of 5 entries and a maximum of 18 entries. If your message needs to be postponed until the following week’s FASoS weekly, we will notify you.
