New printers have arrived at UM. After a European tender procedure Canon became UM’s new partner for the print services.
See below for the installation of the print driver and for the usage of the new printers.
Installation print driver:
- AthenaDesktop users (VDI, desktops and laptops) will get the new printer driver automatically When printing, use the ‘UM_Printer”
- Non AthenaDesktop users should install the driver themselves. There are a few options:
- Install the printer driver on your machine
- Use the ‘Campus Print App’
- Use the ‘Maastricht University Print Portal’
Printer usage:
- You can access the printer:
- By placing your UM card on the reader
- Logging in with your account on the printer
- QR code scanner with the Canon app
- The menu of the Canon printers is similar as the Ricoh printers:
