Can you think of a colleague or a group of colleagues who is/are making an exceptional contribution to education at Maastricht University?
You can nominate – together with at least one colleague – this person or group for the Wynand Wijnen Education Prize 2019.
Please use this form to submit your nomination – ideally including some examples – before Wednesday 27 November 2019. Please attach some additional information to support your nomination.
The person’s/group’s contribution should also meet the following criteria:
- It’s structural, cross-faculty and widely applicable.
- The effort and involvement of this colleague can be called extraordinary or special.
- The contribution is interesting, inspiring and instructive to others, and may serve as an example for people within and outside UM.
The prize consists of a sculpture by artist Monique Aussems and €5000 (of which €2000 needs to be spent on education). The award ceremony is scheduled to take place during the Dies Natalis on 31 January 2020.
