The Open Competition SSH encourages non-programmed, curiosity-driven research in the social sciences and humanities. Within this instrument, researchers can apply for various types of projects and cost categories without any thematic conditions applying. One can apply for max. €750,000 with a max. duration of 6 years with a deadline for pre-proposals at 16 January 2020.
NB: Several restrictive criteria apply.
