Open application call for BKO coordinator position

Are you interested in teaching and in the educational practices at FASoS? Would you like to play a role in ensuring the overall quality of teaching at our faculty? If so, you may consider applying for the position of BKO coordinator. The BKO coordinator, who is the driving force in the development and implementation of the BKO programmes, has responsibilities in the following fields:

  • Intake procedure for participants in the BKO programme and attribution of individual coach;
  • Coordination and implementation of the evaluation of BKO portfolios;
  • Communication with the Faculty Board and exchange of experiences with other faculties;
  • Explore, prepare and implement new formats for professionalizing teaching competencies (f.e through organisation BKO workshops);
  • Attuning the BKO programme to adjacent initiatives like the introductory programmes for new teaching staff, or other meetings on which teaching quality and/or innovation are discussed.

We are looking for a colleague from the academic staff who:

  • Has vision and is enthusiast about teaching and the organization of educational and quality assurance practices in our Faculty;
  • Holds a Ph.D. title and has at least five years of teaching experience;
  • Holds the BKO certificate;
  • Has a tenured position at FASoS

The selected candidate is expected to start in December 2015 or January 2016. The number of Solver hours allocated to this position is 100 hours.
