Open call for a staff member of the EPC MA AC

Please consider the vacancy for General Member of the Educational Programme Committee MA Arts & Culture. Application deadline: Thursday 1 July. The main task of an Educational Programme Committee (EPC) is to monitor and evaluate the quality of the programme(s) it is linked to. Every EPC consists of a Chair, academic staff members and student members, and has an equal representation of staff and students. The MA EPCs at FASoS meet four to five times per year. For more information on the activities of an EPC, please consult the EPC manual on the intranet: see FASoS Staff > Education A-Z > Educational Programme Committees. General Members take part in all EPC meetings. They will prepare opinion statements according to the agenda and underlying documentation of every meeting, present reasoned arguments and views during the discussions, advise on the advantages and disadvantages of certain courses of action, and provide input for the EPC advices and reports. For this EPC we are looking for one General Member, preferably representing the Arts & Heritage specialisation. The selected candidate is expected to start on 1 September 2021, and will be appointed for a period of two years. The remuneration for this position is 40 Solver hours per year.

Interested candidates are invited to send a CV and a short motivation letter/email by Monday 28 June to Robin Dirix.

The staff members who are currently on the EPC and the Faculty Council will review the applications. Subsequently the Faculty Board will appoint the General Member.
