Are you able to conduct meetings in a professional and effective way? If so, please consider the vacancy for Chair of the Programme Committee BA Arts and Culture. The main task of a Programme Committee (PC) is to monitor and evaluate the quality of the programme(s) it is linked to. Every PC consists of a Chair, academic staff members and student members, and has an equal representation of staff and students. The BA PCs at FASoS meet about eight times per year and are supported administratively by a staff member from the policy cluster. For more information on the activities of a PC please consult the PC manual 2016-2017.
The Chair of the PC prepares the agenda and underlying documentation of every meeting, chairs the meetings, represents the committee in other Faculty bodies, consults regularly with the respective programme director(s), and draws up the advices and (annual) reports issued by the PC.
The selected candidate is expected to start on 1 September 2017 and will be appointed for a period of three years. The remuneration previewed for this position is 60 Solver hours.
