On Wednesday 1 November, the extracurricular learning group Open Society Maastricht will launch ‘Think Tank: Climate Change 101’, as an initiative to look into factors that influence how students see climate change (e.g. their education, people they interact with, the media, etc). Location: EDLAB building. Sign up by sending a message to OpenSocietyMaastricht on Facebook or contact: k.skalski@student.maastrichtuniversity.nl.
A Think Tank is an interdisciplinary team of students who collectively explore a particular problem or question. Members come from all faculties. The aim of the projects is to create multiple-perspective outcomes, deliver them to the public and trigger discussion. The projects are organised in 6 weeks cycles. The end-goal of this project is to create an innovative educational programme to raise awareness about climate change among the local youth.
