Open Call: Projects and Project leaders for EDLAB

In January the new university-wide initiative EDLAB will take off. This UM Institute for Education Innovation builds on Leading in Learning and Learning@Work and aims at exploring options to further improve education at UM. The EDLAB has launched a call for projects and project leaders. FASoS can propose two projects and project leaders.

EDLAB requires involvement at all levels: teachers, researchers, management, support staff, and last but not least students. The engagement of students and staff will be at the heart of all EDLAB initiatives.

To start with, FASoS would like to suggest two projects and project leaders, for 0.2 fte each, for a duration of 1 year. The project leaders will work at EDLAB on a deployment basis for the duration of their project.

All members of staff who are interested in contributing to the innovation of Education at FASoS are invited to submit a project. Especially project proposals regarding revitalizing PBL (in an international classroom) and constructive alignment (testing) are welcomed. Yet you are free to submit projects dealing with alternative topics which might be beneficial to education at FASoS.

Please send project proposals (max 1 page), including your personal motivation, to Marjo Krebbeks, Monday 12 January at the latest. For further inquiries, please contact Jo Wachelder.
