The Jan van Eyck Academie is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic volunteers who could help carry out the annual Open Studios.
The Open Studios will happen from 23 – 26 June and from 1- 3 July. Volunteers’ work will involve preparing studios, helping with the execution of projects and the public programme, making all visitors feel welcome and well-guided and finally, assisting in dismantling the exhibitions.
If you would like to become part of this project, wish to meet new people, get in touch with contemporary art and artists, and be part of the working team at an art institute, please send your application to Margarida Colaço at openstudios@janvaneyck.nl with your CV and a motivational letter explaining your strengths, skills and wish for working with the Jan van Eyck Academie. Please do not forget to add the days in which you would like to volunteer.
In return for your work, you will receive a small compensation of €5 per hour, a Jan van Eyck goodie and a free lunch on the days you are volunteering.
