Patrick Bijsmans (Politics) and Darian Meacham (Philosophy) have successfully concluded the first-ever UM IMPACT course. The course, which focused on knowledge utilisation in academia, lasted from May to October 2017 and consisted of several sessions, including a pitching workshop and a round of final presentations. Patrick came in second during the pitching workshop and Darian earned third place during the final presentations.
The course brought together researchers from the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and Maastricht University, working on a range of different topics. The course took place between May and October of this year and consisted of several sessions, including a pitching workshop and a round of final presentations. Patrick got second place during the pitching workshop on 22 June, whereas Darian even earned third place (€ 250,-) during the round of final presentations on 3 October.
