It is with great pleasure that we would like to announce that Patrick Bijsmans will be the new Associate Dean for Education at FASoS, starting on 1 September 2022.
We are very much looking forward to working with Patrick. He hardly needs an introduction to the readers of FASoS Weekly as he has contributed to education at FASoS in different ways over many years.
Patrick is Associate Professor in ‘Teaching & Learning European Studies’. He has been programme director of the Bachelor European Studies, and faculty coordinator for University Teaching Qualification. Currently he is faculty coordinator for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and chair of the Taskforce Technology-Enhanced Learning. He also has research expertise in the field of teaching and learning, including research projects on interaction in the international classroom and on (de)alignment of curricula. He is a member of the University Learning & Innovation Taskforce.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Giselle Bosse for all of her work in this role over the past two very challenging years. Giselle, you did a fantastic job! Thanks so much!
