At teaching conferences, we often talk about active learning, about giving learners space to engage, about the added value of actively discovering a topic. And at the very same teaching conferences we often sit through hours of presentations, and spend too little time on exchanging, discussing or experimenting.
This time will be different. No more hours of listening, squeezing in discussants, and having too little time during the coffee break to have useful conversations. Activities during this two-day interactive event are manifold: experience, provoke, stimulate, discuss, challenge, experiment. Thanks to all our engaged colleagues who offered to be actively involved!
