Reminder for the call to all (academic) moviemakers! The deadline to nominate students and staff for their newly-discovered video abilities is on 24 February.
Nominate yourself or someone else via this form.
The COVID-19 crisis has turned all university teachers (and students) into movie makers. From online presentations, to knowledge clips to full video lectures, we have over the last few months all been dabbling into filming. We learned as we went about vloggers’ tips, animation, montage, lighting and much more.
We want to acknowledge your hard movie making work and want to give out awards to the best picture, actor, screenplay, etc.!
Nominate yourself or someone else via this form.
Awards can be won in the following categories:
- Best picture (educational efficiency)
- Best short
- Best acting
- Best cinematography (image quality, montage, sound, etc)
- Best original screenplay (storytelling)
- Best make-up and hairstyling (it is an actual Oscar category!)
- Best animated feature
- Outstanding artistic contribution (weird and interesting)
The winners will be announced during Education Day on 4 March.
