On International Women’s Day, 8 March 2018, the Centre for Gender and Diversity and the new UM Diversity Officer launch a Diversity Day for the whole UM community. The morning session will be for and by students and deals with ‘Gender, Diversity and Sexual Harassment at UM’. The theme of the afternoon is about ‘Taking Steps Towards an Age-Friendly University’, focusing on the two most vulnerable age groups among staff: 25-35 and 55+.
Both sessions are to provoke debate, facilitate the exchange of experience and generate input for measures that the UM can take to become a more inclusive organisation.
Hope to see you all there!
