SG lecture: Systemic Power and Everyday Racism, on 24 November

This year’s Tanslecture will be given by Philomena Essed on the notion of ‘systemic racism’ which has, in the wake of Black Lives Matter, opened eyes in mainstream, policy and business arenas.

In her lecture, she will address that racism knowledge, grounded in a thorough understanding of everyday racism, can predict racism scenarios and identify which interventions can be effective… or not.
