Join the Student Idea Competition, alone or as a group, by sending your proposal to Studentprojectteam@maastrichtuniversity.nl before Friday 27 November 2015.
For the third year, the SPT is is organising the student idea competition. In this competition competitors submit their ideas with which they want to improve Maastricht University. This can be your idea! Ready to turn your idea into reality?
What does the competition involve?
• You hand in an idea proposal that relates to student life at UM before 27 November.
• After the deadline of application, the SPT will select the best five ideas. If your idea is chosen, we will provide you with guidance and support to turn your idea into a business proposal and an elevator pitch – through outstanding workshops offered by Career Services and Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship.
• After doing the workshops, you get the opportunity to pitch your idea in front of our jury.
The Jury will decide who wins the prize: €250 in cash. This funding will be provided according to the rules and regulations of the UM Stimuleringsfonds.
Why taking part of this competition?
1. It’s an easy way to present your idea at the UM.
2. You receive help by launching your idea.
3. You receive 3 workshops for free where you learn some new skills. Those skills don’t only add value to your implementation with your idea, but also for the rest of your career.
4. You get the chance to pitch your idea for important people within the UM.
5. The winners will receive €250 to implement their idea.

• You’re a student at UM.
• Your idea or initiative is beneficial to students and/or student life in Maastricht.
• Your idea or initiative meets (or will meet) the criteria of the UM Stimuleringsfonds.
