The original set-up was for students to log into Student Portal so they could find their courses, announcements, due dates, grades and other course details (for more information, see here). Upon selecting Course Details in the Student Portal, the student would be redirected to Canvas (this happens in the background, so as a student you do not actually see or notice it).
However, currently there is a big performance issue and ICT is unable to load a part of the study related information and show this in the Student Portal. Students are notified with an orange notification bar with a direct link to the Canvas dashboard. The link to Canvas is the work around to see the missing study information.
To solve the issue ICT needs external support and their availability is not known yet. ICT cannot estimate when the issue is solved, but they do the utmost to solve this issue as soon as possible.
