Student Representative of the Week: Moritz Osterhuber

The FASoS Student Representatives have started a series, in which you will be introduced to one Student Representative every week. Throughout the series, you will find out which representative can help you with your individual issues.

Council member Moritz Osterhuber

My name is Moritz and I am a second year bachelor’s student in European Studies at FASoS. I am 20 years old and originally from Ingolstadt, a mid-sized town in Southern Germany.

The reason I wanted to become a student representative is precisely the fact that students have so much to say about what goes well and what does not: they have creative ideas and their perspective matters when it comes to improving the quality of our faculty. For much of my time at high school I have been involved in school politics and organisational tasks. Particularly at university, broad involvement is crucial to ensure that students are respected as equal partners, that their interests are represented and, in fact, that they act as stakeholders in decision-making processes.
