New series! Student Representative of the Week: Justine Skrotzki

The FASoS Student Representatives have started a new series, in which you will be introduced to one Student Representative every week. Throughout the series, you will find out which representative can help you with your individual issues.

Student Adviser to the Faculty Board Justine Skrotzki

My Name is Justine Skrotzki and I am a second year European Studies student. This year I took over the role as Student Adviser to the Faculty Board.

This entails representing the Students of FASoS in the Faculty Board meetings, where I discuss diverse issues of our Faculty, Bachelor programmes or other internal – but also external matters. Herein, I meet with out Dean, Associate Dean of Teaching – and Research and other Advisory Bodies. Thus, I act as mediator between the students positions and needs, but also encounter the perspective of the Board when dealing with all sorts of agenda points. One might wonder why I applied for a position in the Student Representatives? After my first year at our Faculty, I realised I wanted to get more involved in what happens at FASoS, whether it is education or facilities or the courses. Thus, the Student Representatives formed the best channel to not only stay informed but being able to make a change.
