This summer, maintenance works will take place in and around FASoS buildings. The works are expected to last over the summer and will cause noise nuisance. For an overview of the works to be carried out, please read below:
- On the groundfloor of the B-wing GG90-92 the recesses will be renovated;
- Replacement of the elevator in the front part of GG80-82 (Soiron). These works start Monday 2 July and will take 6 weeks to finish. In this period the elevator cannot be used in this part of the building;
- Paintwork of the window frames (outside) GG90-92;
- In the tutorial rooms of GG76 the floors will be replaced;
- The iron fence in the garden of GG90-92 will be renovated;
- The fountain in the courtyard of GG90-92 will be restored;
- The historical wooden stairs in GG80-82 and GG90-92 will be equipped with a steel railing to meet safety regulations;
- Still to be confirmed: repair of the roof in the attic of GG80-82.
