Survey by D&I office about racism at UM

The D&I office, in cooperation with students from the PREMIUM honours programme, are conducting a survey into racism at UM.

With the survey, they aim at getting a baseline measurement of current perceptions of racism of our whole UM community (both experienced and perceived). Such a baseline measurement is crucial to better understand the current UM environment in which UM initiatives on anti-racism have to be embedded.

The intention is to understand where the UM community is at in understanding racism so we know where to start productive conversations on the topic, being able to address all UM community members in this conversation, and from which we can derive further input for anti-racist policies and initiatives actions at the UM level.

Please take 10 minutes out of your day to help us collect this vital data. In doing so you can help move forward the conversation of how to address racism at UM.

Participation in this survey is completely voluntary and anonymous, however, there will also be an opportunity at the end of the survey for willing volunteers to sign up to participate in discussion group sessions held in the coming weeks. For more information please contact
