My name is Tetiana Vasylenko and I have been recently appointed as a teaching assistant at the Political Department. Initially, I specialised in Economics/Finance and obtained my first Master’s degree in International Economics. However, I have always been passionate about politics and international relations. Following this passion, I pursued my second Master’s degree in European Studies in Maastricht.
Upon completion of my studies, I gained a valuable practical experience throughout my work at the European Economic and Social Committee and the European Parliament. Among the many aspects of the EU politics, I am mostly interested in the EU foreign and security policy, with particular emphasis on the ENP and relations with Russia. Alongside EU affairs, I am interested in wider international relations, particularly international security, conflict and cooperation.
I am excited to return back to the faculty and looking forward to the start of this academic year!
