Training Br@nd Yourself

Nowadays, around 92% of companies use social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook for recruitment purposes. As a result, 1/3 of them have rejected candidates based on what they found on social media. How are you positioned online, and what do recruiters see first? Be one step ahead, and decide for yourself what you want people to find about you. Come to Br@nd Yourself on Tuesday 15 April, 13:00-17:30! (price: €10)

Sign up before Friday 4 April.

The internet is an easy source for recruiters to shape their perception of you. What do employers and recruiters see first when they google your name? A party picture on facebook? A half-finished linkedin page? Or other non-relevant things?

Make a Move (AIESEC) wants to create awareness among students about the importance of a good brand/position on the internet, especially when it comes to your future careers. Therefore, we have organised Br@nd Yourself, a training for students who would like to learn more about the role of social media in the recruitment process, and who would like to be ahead of this phenomenon by consciously building on a good online position.

This exclusive training (only 35 spots) will be given by High Potential Academy, who strives to develop students in the best possible way.

Among benefits, this training will give you:

– The latest insights in the world of social media;
– Time and advice on how to create a professional online profile and which tools to use;
– Confronting facts about how social media influences the recruitment process;
– A book on how to use LinkedIn (in pdf file);
– A Professional profile/linkedin picture;
– A certificate of participation;
– A drink afterwards
