Two new FASoS online teaching and learning webinars in April

Two new FASoS online teaching and learning webinars are scheduled for the upcoming weeks:

  • Webinar on online lectures on Wednesday 22 April, from 14.00 – 15.00, with Emilie Sitzia
  • Online student wellbeing webinar on Wednesday 29 April, from 15.00 – 16.00, with Miranda van den Boorn and Pia Harbers

Both webinars will be hosted by CPD coordinator Patrick Bijsmans

 FASoS webinar on online lectures 

The third FASoS webinar on online teaching and learning will focus on online lectures and will take place on Wednesday 22 April, from 14.00 – 15.00.

Emilie Sitzia wrote about the use of video lectures in a recent FASoS Teaching & Learning Blog and will share her insights and experience with you. We will also have discussions in smaller groups, as well as in a plenary setting. The webinar will be hosted by FASoS CPD coordinator Patrick Bijsmans.

Please register for the webinar no later than Tuesday 21 April 16.00 via this link.

A Zoom link and password will appear on the last page of the registration form. We recommend you enter the meeting room 5 to 10 minutes before and test whether your audiovisual equipment (microphone, webcam, headset) is working well. Please make sure to use your UM account when joining the meeting.

Student wellbeing in times of online teaching and learning

A fourth FASoS webinar on online teaching and learning will focus on student wellbeing and will take place on Wednesday 29 April, from 15.00 – 16.00.

FASoS student advisors Miranda van den Boorn and Pia Harbers will share their insights and experience with you. Pia wrote a FASoS Teaching & Learning Blog about student well-being before. We will also have discussions in smaller groups, as well as in a plenary setting. The webinar will be hosted by FASoS CPD coordinator Patrick Bijsmans.
