Two successful online CPD workshops

This week saw two CPD workshops take place online. The first, on Tuesday 28 April, focused on assignment design in PBL and was lead by Patrick Bijsmans and Mirko Reithler. The second, on Wednesday 29 April, focused on assessment and was lead by John Harbord.

The online format came with some limitations and a need to do some things differently. Yet, both workshops went well and should normally be offered again next year – offline or online.

In the first workshop, participants discussed the do’s and don’ts of assignment design and got hands-on when discussing how to improve their own assignment texts. 

In the second workshop, John introduced several thoughts and ideas regarding assessment. Participants were then asked to consider what form of assessment they would opt for based on ILOs from a non-FASoS course.
