UM Horizon 2020 information meeting for beginners

Learn everything you always wanted to know about Horizon 2020 at the UM information meeting on Tuesday 21 April, 13.00-15.00, Universiteitssingel 50 (room 0480). All researchers and others who are interested in Horizon 2020 are welcome to join. Due to a limited number of seats, it is recommended to register asap.

Horizon 2020 is the European research and innovation programme and successor of the FP7 (Seventh Framework) programme. Through Horizon 2020, the European Commission (EC) aims at improving Europe’s competitive position. In addition, the EC wants to challenge business and academia to collaborate in creating solutions for pan-European societal challenges, such as climate change, ageing population, the financial crisis and affordable renewable energy.

The workshop will help you identify opportunities in Horizon 2020 and help to translate these into a funding proposal. It is aimed at people who have little or no experience in Horizon 2020 and previous European Framework Programmes (it is less suited for those who already have experience in these programmes: please contact your local subsidy advisor for advice). Speakers are from the organisations RVO and Neth-ER. The sessions will be held in English. During the sessions you can get in touch with your grant advisor to make an appointment for an individual meeting on your research proposal.

To register please send an email to subsidieadviseurs-bu@maastrichtuniversity.nl before 17 April at the latest.
