University of York summer school on British History

The University of York is running a summer school on British History from Monday 14 July to Friday 8 August. The course will be taught by leading York academics on the university campus in the beautiful historic city of York. The total cost per student is £2,500 to include tuition, visits and outings, accommodation and meals. Apply online with a short reference from a member of academic or support staff.

The summer school will be open only to the students of its partner universities. The course will take students from Roman Britain, through the Viking era, medieval times and into the 18th century and will include visits to historic sites in Britain.

Students will have keynote lectures, discussion groups, and project work. They will study with other students from high quality universities around the world, and be supported by York staff throughout their stay.
