UNSA’s Careers Beyond Borders: 19-22 April

Careers Beyond Borders (CBB), is UNSA’s Career Week on International Politics that brings professionals working for various international organisations to Maastricht for lectures and workshops.

CBB will be held online from 19 – 22 April.

Check our Facebook and Instagram to get to know more about the speakers and workshops, sign up and get inspired!

Since UNSA Maastricht established CBB in 2013, it welcomed speakers from outstanding and globally-recognised organisations to share their knowledge and experience with Maastricht’s international students. CBB aims at offering students a better, more concrete insight into the actual content of the work and the daily working environment in various international organisations.

This year’s edition will be held fully online. We have two workshops on offer as well as a conversation with the Director of the Education Directorate at OECD and many other guests.

On Monday, we will have Martin Krause who will talk about his work in the UN Development Programme; Martin Malachovsky who is the CEO of the NGO Maventy; Scott Garrison who is the Co-Founder of the Buena Onda NGO; and Frank Summa who is project manager at Sequa GmbH.

On Tuesday, we will first have the VCV Workshop with Ani Arekivian, and later that day we will also hear from Dilek Asanoska, Senior Analyst at A Data Pro.

On Wednesday, we will hear from Andrea Rasca, Founder and Chief Executive Dreamer of Mercato Metropolitano; Cristian Surubaru who will tell us about his two year traineeship at the EU Commission; Tobias Reichert, Policy Advisor at the German Bundestag; and Ilinca Rohmann, Manager in the area of forensics at Ernst&Young.

On Thursday, last day of the CBB, Alexander Borum will speak about his work at EUCAP Somalia. Last but not least, we will have a workshop on transferable skills by Careers in the Common Good.
