FASoS now has two professional video conferencing setups available, and a third is on it’s way.
Since video conferencing is used more and more in our daily work, FASoS invested in professional video conferencing facilities. Two are available already:
- A fixed, designated video conferencing setup in GG86, room 1.014 (above Banditos)
- A portable all-in-one video conferencing device, to be used in any room
A third fixed setup is on it’s way in GG90-92, room D1.08. It will be installed during the summer.
Since we want to provide you with the best experience we decided to opt for professional video conferencing software, Lifesize, offering superior call quality and being very easy to use. Lifesize delivers better quality and a more stable connection than Skype. To help you with the process, we created a comprehensive manual on how to schedule, set-up and hold the call.
If you wish to use any of the setups above you first need to make a reservation using designated Video conferencing online form. Once your request has been confirmed you will receive details of your call, including date and time and link to Lifesize software. If at any point you have any questions about your call, please contact one of the FASoS IT support staff.
