Workshop: Storytelling & Pitching for Researchers, on 10 & 17 April

Your story is what gives people a sense of who you are, and forms the core of how you present yourself and the results of your research to the world. From a lengthy and detailed presentation or research paper to a condensed impactful pitch, the secret of a successful story is in its recipe.

You can register for the workshop on Wednesday 10 April (deadline 8 April) or Wednesday 17 April (deadline 15 April).

In this workshop, you will be learning to differentiate between what is essential and what is redundant in a presentation. You will have practical exercises on how to craft your narrative, all designed so that you can leave with an enhanced perspective of who you are and what makes you unique!

Entrepreneurial Thinking meets Academia and gives female researchers a chance to reshape the storyline of their career path. Take control over your journey, learn how to best present yourself and your work, so that you can enhance your chances of success in the job market.

This workshop is the second in the series of projects on Entrepreneurial Thinking for Female Researchers, part of the grant scheme on Diversity & Inclusivity, part of the university’s Diversity at the CORE policy.

NOTE: Workshop open for Early-Career Female Researchers.
